  1. Classic Porridge with a Twist:

    Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats, 2 cups milk (or a dairy-free alternative), 1 tablespoon honey, some fresh berries and nuts for topping.

    a. Bring the milk to a simmer on low flame in a non-stick saucepan.
    b. Stir in the rolled oats and cook on low heat until the mixture thickens.
    c. Honey is a healthier alternative to sugar. So, sweeten with honey and top with fresh berries
    and nuts for added nutrition and texture.
    d. You can also sprinkle some cinnamon powder and kosher salt to enhance the flavours.
    Savour it with your favourite cup of tea or coffee.

  2. Full English Breakfast Burrito:

    Ingredients: 2 large eggs, 2 lean bacon slices, 1 sliced tomato, a handful of spinach leaves, whole grain tortillas, and some grated cheese.

    a. Cook the bacon in a Vinod Hard Anodised Deep Frypan until crispy, then set aside.
    b. In the same pan, wilt the spinach and scramble the eggs.
    c. Warm the tortilla, then assemble the wrap with eggs, bacon, tomato slices, spinach, and some grated cheese, in that order.
    d. You can replace the lean bacon with some garlic mushrooms and also, include baked bean to add some Mexican flavour to your breakfast.
    e. Serve with some sliced avocado and ketchup.

Smashed Avocado on Wholemeal Toast:

Ingredients: 1 ripe avocado, ½ lemon, Salt and pepper to taste, 1 Whole wheat toasted bread, Optional toppings: poached egg, cherry tomatoes, or smoked salmon.

a. Mash the avocado in a bowl and mix with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
b. Spread the avocado mixture on toasted wholemeal bread.
c. Top with your choice of optional toppings for a protein boost.

4. Berry and Yogurt Parfait:

Ingredients: Greek yogurt, Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), Granola, Honey for drizzling.

a. In a glass or bowl, layer Greek yogurt with mixed berries and granola.
b. Repeat the layers until you reach the top.
c. Drizzle honey over the parfait for a touch of sweetness.

5. Scottish Oatcakes with Smoked Salmon:

Ingredients: Scottish oatcakes, Cream cheese, Smoked salmon, Fresh dill.

a. Spread a layer of cream cheese on Scottish oatcakes.
b. Top with smoked salmon and garnish with fresh dill.
c. Serve as an open-faced sandwich for a protein-packed breakfast.
